In The OP Of Ukraine Told Whether Lukashenko Will Enter The War

The threat to Kiev remains.

Ukraine continues to take into account possible risks from Belarus, but is not in a hurry to make unequivocal conclusions about the degree of its involvement in the war. This was stated in an interview with "Channel 24" by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Brigadier General Pavel Palisa.

According to him, the threat to Chernihiv and Kyiv regions will remain as long as the Kremlin-oriented political regime operates in Belarus.

Palisa emphasized that Ukraine views Belarus as a potential source of danger, recalling the events of early 2022, when Russian troops launched an offensive from Belarusian territory, despite Minsk's public assurances about the absence of such intentions.

Separately, he commented on Russian air attacks, noting that during the massive strikes, Russian drones often moved along the Belarusian border without crossing it.

The official urged not to make hasty conclusions as to whether the territory of Belarus is used directly for launching weapons.

According to him, it cannot be ruled out that technical infrastructure for controlling Russian drones can be used from the Belarusian territory, but final conclusions on this issue require confirmed data.

The Office of the President of Ukraine emphasizes that Belarus remains an important security factor in the northern direction, but any assessment of its possible involvement in the war should be made in the context of the Russian drone attacks.
