Ukraine has responded to Russian Federation's complaints about drone attacks on Moscow.
Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN Andriy Melnyk responded to the complaints of Russia's Permanent Representative Vasily Nebenzi regarding the drone attack on Moscow on May 17. He emphasized that all attacks on Russian territory are a response to the Kremlin's aggression against Ukraine.
Melnyk said this during a meeting of the UN Security Council. He urged his Russian counterpart to stop complaining about the suffering of Russians.
"Stop complaining about the suffering of poor Russians. What Russia is witnessing is the boomerang it is getting, launched by Putin against Ukraine. It comes back with triple force and hits very painfully," the Ukrainian post said.
He emphasized that Ukraine does not strike civilian facilities on Russian territory.
"Never do we target civilians. We only destroy military facilities fully in accordance with international humanitarian law and its provisions," Melnyk emphasized.
