Ukraine Has Liberated 590 Kilometers Of Its Territory Since The Beginning Of 2026

Since the beginning of 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have managed to liberate 590 kilometers of our territory. The positions of the Ukrainian defenders are now stronger than in previous years.

The President Vladimir Zelensky said this in a video message.

"Indeed, the Ukrainian positions are now stronger than in previous years. Since the beginning of the year, 590 kilometers of our territory have been liberated and are under control. The trend is definitely not in the interests of the occupier, we continue to increase the rate of destruction of Russian personnel - this, together with sanctions of all forms, forces Russia to make a choice in favor of diplomacy," the head of state said.

Zelensky noted that now it is necessary to "do everything to intensify diplomacy".

"I expect a response from the American side as well - on possible formats and schedule of meetings," the Ukrainian president added.
