May 26, 50-year-old political prisoner Sergei Stribulski was convicted in Mahiliou. He was found guilty under parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code (promotion of extremist activity), writes "Viasna".

The court sentenced him to three years and six months of imprisonment in a reinforced regime. In addition to the imprisonment, Stribulsky was given a hefty fine of 550 basic units (24,750 rubles).

Sergei was detained on November 14, 2025. Initially, he served two administrative arrests, but on December 12, he was detained again in a criminal case. Before the trial, the man was kept in Mahiliou prison No. 4.

This is not the first case of pressure on the activist: in 2017, he was a figure in the high-profile "White Legion case" and spent 99 days in pre-trial detention until the case was closed. In 2021, his equipment was confiscated, and in March 2022 - on the eve of the Day of Will - Sergei was again detained and sentenced to 15 days. At that time, he told his friends that during the detention the law enforcers beat him and tortured him with electric shocks.
