Zelensky: Russia Has Disrupted The Ceasefire, Ukraine Will Determine Further Actions
Vladimir Zelensky

Ukraine's president has warned the Russian Federation.

Russia has disrupted the ceasefire that began on the night of May 6. Ukraine will determine further actions based on the results of evening reports from the military and intelligence.

This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to Telegram of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

The president said that despite the declared truce, assaults continue on all key areas of the front, and since the beginning of this day alone, the Russian army has already carried out almost 30 assaults.

Only for this night and morning, more than 20 air strikes with the use of more than 70 aerial bombs have been recorded.

Drone strikes of various types were also carried out by the Russian army during this night. In particular, our Ukrainian Defense Forces disarmed almost ninety attack drones alone. There were also missile strikes.

As of 10:00, the Russian army had carried out a total of 1,820 violations of the silence regime - shelling, attempted assaults, air strikes, and the use of drones.

"Ukraine has clearly stated that it will act in a mirrored manner, given Russia's intrusive appeals through the media and social networks asking for silence during the Moscow parade. "It is obvious to all normal people that a full-scale war and daily killing of people is a bad time for public 'celebrations,'" Zelensky said.

He emphasized that Russia must end its war. Even with the Internet down and communications blocked, it is absolutely clear to most Russians that their leadership "can come out of the bunker and choose peace."

The president added that the Russian side has diplomatic proposals from Ukraine, and the only thing that is needed is Russia's readiness to move toward real peace.

"As of this day, we state that the Russian side has broken the ceasefire. Based on the results of the evening reports of our military and intelligence, we will decide on our further actions," Zelensky said.
