Two unmanned aerial vehicles, which, according to preliminary data, could have flown in from Russia, have fallen on Latvian territory. This was reported by the National Armed Forces of the country.
The military specified that units of the National Armed Forces, the State Police and the State Fire and Rescue Service are working at the scene of the incident.
The statement noted that against the background of ongoing hostilities in Ukraine, there is a risk of recurrence of such incidents, when drones may enter or approach Latvian airspace.
