For the first time in a long time, ministers and deputy prime ministers of the Russian government are not allowed to take part in the Victory Day parade in Moscow, "Kommersant" writes.
The Duma deputies were previously banned from participating in the parade. Only members of the Security Council - a narrow circle of officials close to Vladimir Putin - take part in the event.
These include the heads of security agencies (Defense Ministry, FSB, Interior Ministry, SVR), the heads of both chambers of the Federal Assembly Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, as well as the leadership of the Foreign Ministry.
