It has already become difficult to fill up at regular gas stations in Krasnodar.
Russians on social media are sounding the alarm and reporting that the gasoline shortage is spreading across southern Russia, having spread from Crimea to the Krasnodar Krai and Dagestan, writes "Dialog".
One user recorded a video in which he said that a company providing fuel cards had warned customers about problems with gasoline and diesel fuel in the region.
According to him, it has already become difficult to refuel at regular gas stations in Krasnodar, including Lukoil stations. Meanwhile, the storage tanks that were still supplying fuel were reportedly located in Armavir and Volgograd, but now they, too, are practically empty.
"Good afternoon, everyone! Today we received a call from the organization that provides us with fuel cards, and they said that there is a very severe fuel shortage in southern Russia: both gasoline and diesel. They said that in Krasnodar, it’s already difficult for ordinary people to fill up at Lukoil gas stations. The only storage tanks that were supplying us were in the city of Armavir, and the next closest one was in Volgograd, but those tanks are already empty. Let’s put it this way: they’ve already taken everything they could from there, and we were warned that there will be a severe shortage. “Most likely, fuel will be rationed, so just in case, keep this in mind: it looks like the situation with Crimea is reaching us too, because all the other storage facilities here have already been destroyed,” he said.
It is also reported that major chains—Rosneft, Gazprom, and Lukoil—are already canceling discounts and preparing to serve corporate customers with fuel cards first. According to the video’s author, diesel fuel dispensing may also be subject to limits.
