The United States And Iran Have Reached A Peace Agreement

Trump announced the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

The United States and Iran have reached peace agreement and agreed to an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, particularly in Lebanon.

This was announced by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on social media platform X.

According to him, the official signing of the agreement is scheduled for June 19 in Switzerland. Prior to that, mediators must hold a series of meetings to prepare for technical negotiations and the signing ceremony.

Sharif noted that Pakistan continues to work with both sides to finalize the next steps in the peace process.

In turn, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the agreements with Iran have been finalized.

“The deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is done. Congratulations to everyone!” Trump wrote.

He also announced the “duty-free opening” of the Strait of Hormuz and the immediate end of the U.S. naval blockade in the region.
