Polish Defense Minister Meets With Budanov

On Saturday, June 6, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov met in Poland with Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz.

Kosiniak-Kamysz wrote about it in the social network X.

The head of the Polish Defense Ministry said that his country and Ukraine are partners in security issues.

"But when it comes to history, we must tell each other the truth, because this is the only way we can build the future," he said.

He said that during his meeting with Budanov, he "clearly outlined Poland's expectations regarding the decision to assign the name of the UPA to one of the military units."

"The memory of the victims of the Volyn tragedy is not up for discussion. There are boundaries that cannot be crossed," Kosniak-Kamysh added.
