New details of the attack have come to light.
On the night of June 7, the Ukrainian Defense Forces used UAVs to attack a bridge near Chongar at the entrance to occupied Crimea.
The Dzhankoy checkpoint is closed indefinitely due to damage. The occupation Russian "authorities" reported about the blocking of traffic through the checkpoint in the morning, reports Dialog.UA.
"As a result of a night attack by UAVs, the bridge bed near the Chongar settlement was damaged. For safety reasons, traffic through the Dzhankoy checkpoint is temporarily blocked," the occupiers reported.
They redirect traffic to other checkpoints "Armyansk" and "Perekop". The timing of the bridge's restoration is still unknown.
And meanwhile, Z-patriots are sounding the alarm. Propagandists consider the blockade of the land corridor to Crimea as a preparation for a land operation of the AFU in Crimea. An officer of the Russian Armed Forces, Z-blogger Ivan Otrakovsky has published a revealing post on the subject.
"The AFU has hit the bridge near Chongar on the border with Crimea, traffic through the Dzhankoy checkpoint is temporarily blocked... There is combat work on the transportation isolation of Crimea. The landing of paratroopers does not seem something unrealistic in some perspective, with such a management of the country," the propagandist wrote.
