A Heat Wave Hits Belarus

There are bound to be some weather surprises.
On Tuesday, July 14, hot summer weather will continue in Belarus. At the same time, meteorologists are warning of thunderstorms and have issued a yellow alert.
According to Belhydromet, weather conditions will be determined by a warm, unstable air mass. Partly cloudy skies are expected, with brief showers and thunderstorms in some areas. Light fog is possible in some areas in the morning. Winds will be from the north and northwest, light to moderate, with gusts during thunderstorms.
During the day, temperatures will rise to +25…+30°C.
In Minsk, temperatures are expected to reach +26…+28°C. Short-lived rain and thunderstorms are possible.
In Brest, temperatures will range from +28 to +30°C. Short-lived rain and thunderstorms are forecast.
In Vitebsk, temperatures will reach +27 to +29°C. No significant precipitation is expected.
In Gomel, forecasters predict temperatures of +27…+29°C, with brief showers and thunderstorms possible in some areas.
In Grodno, it will be slightly cooler—+25…+27°C. Mostly no significant precipitation.
In Mogilev, temperatures are expected to reach +26…+28°C. Short-lived rain and thunderstorms are possible.
Forecasters recommend taking weather conditions into account when planning trips and outdoor activities, especially in areas where thunderstorms are forecast.
