Modum, a Belarusian cosmetics manufacturer, stored about 30% of its inventory in Wildberries' Russian warehouses, which were damaged in a drone attack. These products are currently unavailable for order, but the company hopes to resume sales as soon as possible, as explained in Threads, Olga Bezvoditskaya, the marketing director of .
“About 30% of Modum’s total inventory was stored in warehouses in Elektrostal and Kotovsk. Currently, this product range is unavailable for order; the priority is not only to assess the losses but also to restore product availability to customers as quickly as possible,” she wrote.
According to her, the company had distributed its products among several Wildberries warehouses in advance, so most of the product range continues to be sold as usual.
In addition, some products have already been switched to a different sales model.
“We also quickly switched some items to the FBS model (delivery from the seller’s warehouse), which allows us to resume sales without waiting for the affected logistics centers to resume operations,” Olga added.
One commenter asked whether the company anticipates that other Wildberries warehouses might be affected in the coming weeks and inquired about their plans in such a scenario. The Modum representative replied, “We haven’t thought about that yet.”
