Russia Launched A Missile Strike On An Arms Exhibition Near Kyiv

Ten people were killed and 100 were injured.

As a result of the Russian Federation’s strike on a training ground in the Kyiv region, 10 people were killed and about 100 others were injured to varying degrees. This was reported by Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko, according to unian.net.

According to him, a criminal case has been opened in connection with the tragic incident under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for liability for war crimes. Criminal proceedings have also been initiated under Part 3 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in connection with possible dereliction of duty during the organization and conduct of the event, which led to the loss of life and other serious consequences.

“War does not exempt anyone from responsibility for managerial decisions. On the contrary—it requires the utmost professionalism, caution, and awareness in every step,” Kravchenko said.

He added that the investigation must determine who made the decision to hold the event, who approved the location, time, and format of the event, and what security measures were in place. It must also determine whether the risks were properly assessed under martial law.

As a reminder, according to monitoring channels, during the daytime attack on the capital, Russia used more than 10 ballistic missiles of various types, as well as “Zircons.” There were reports of air defense systems operating in the capital, as well as missile strikes in the Kyiv region.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the Russian strike, noted that all the circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated. He also emphasized that Ukraine’s top priority is to obtain “Patriot” missiles from its partners.
