Ukraine Has Received A New Tranche Of €90 Billion From The EU

In 2026, 45 billion euros are earmarked for Kyiv.

The European Commission has transferred 3.47 billion euros to Ukraine as part of the Ukraine Support Loan program—a component of the EU’s two-year financing program for Ukraine totaling up to 90 billion euros. This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi on his Telegram channel.

“We have received another tranche of 3.47 billion euros from the EU as part of the Ukraine Support Loan program. These funds will be used to strengthen defense and finance priority needs,” the prime minister noted.

He also pointed out that a total of 45 billion euros is earmarked for Ukraine in 2026 under this mechanism. According to him, 11.6 billion has been disbursed to date: 3.2 billion for budgetary needs and 8.4 billion for defense.

The European Commission added that the €3.47 billion tranche provides additional funding for unmanned aerial vehicles, specifically long-range jet-powered UAVs, missiles, and Gripen fighter jets.
