Massive Attack: Novorossiysk Is Ablaze

The city is under attack from both the air and the water.

According to OSINT monitoring, the drone attack on Novorossiysk lasted more than five hours—air defense systems were actively engaged over the city.

The city’s mayor confirmed that, in addition to drones, an attack by unmanned boats was also recorded. Locals are complaining of a strong smell of burning and smoke in the city center.

One of the possible targets of the attack could have been the port of Novorossiysk—Russia’s largest port and the country’s key export hub on the Black Sea.

NASA FIRMS has detected multiple thermal anomalies in the Novorossiysk area, including directly within the port infrastructure.

It is known that the Novorossiysk Bread Products Plant was damaged during the attack on the port.
