Musician and leader of the band “Nogu Svelo!” Maksim Pokrovsky has posted a video from Izyum, Ukraine—a city that has become a mass grave for civilians killed during the Russian occupation. The video was posted on the artist’s page.
“Russians, we are standing in a place that serves as proof of the genocide you committed in Ukraine. This is Izyum. This is the site of a mass grave for 449 civilians who were exterminated, who were killed,” Pokrovsky stated.
According to him, many of the victims were tortured before their deaths—just as happened in Bucha. Subsequently, the musician noted, the occupiers tried to cover up the traces of their crimes.
“Russians, these are graves. To be more precise, these were the graves of Izyum’s civilians. It was either your compatriots or you yourselves who committed genocide here,” Pokrovsky emphasized.
The musician paid tribute to the memory of the civilian victims from Izyum and Bucha.
