Moscow Was Subjected To A Massive Drone Attack

Wildberries' largest warehouse in Russia was hit.
On the night of August 16, Moscow came under a massive drone attack—within a few hours, at least 76 drones had already been shot down over the city and the surrounding region.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine citing Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
The attack on Moscow lasted several hours in a row, and Sobyanin reported new drones being shot down practically every hour. At first, he reported seven drones shot down as they flew toward the city, and just a few minutes later—five more.
After that, the numbers began to rise even faster: first eight drones, then another eight, then ten, twelve, and fifteen.
As of 4:05 a.m., the total number of downed drones, according to the mayor’s official figures, had reached at least 76—the attack is ongoing, and Sobyanin continues to update the figures. According to him, emergency response specialists are constantly working at the crash sites.
Meanwhile, reports have surfaced online about a possible strike in the Kaledino area—the location of one of Wildberries’ logistics complexes.

OSINT analysts from the ASTRA Telegram channel have confirmed that Wildberries’ largest warehouse—the logistics complex in Podolsk, Moscow Region, located at 20 Troitskaya Street in the village of Kaledino—was targeted. According to OSINT analysis of eyewitness photos, a large-scale fire is raging there following a nighttime drone attack.
The warehouse covers an area of over 200,000 square meters—it is the company’s largest logistics facility.
Drone attacks on Moscow and its environs have become a regular occurrence this summer. On August 14, the city and the Leningrad Region came under drone attack — damage and a fire were reported in the area of one of the ports.
