The Kremlin Is Retiring Propagandist Dmitry Kiselyov

Putin's administration is unhappy with them.

His position is expected to be temporarily filled by Evgeny Popov, who plans to significantly change the format of the news summary program itself.

Complaints against Kiselev have been mounting within Putin’s administration for some time. These concerns stem not only from the decline in the audience’s genuine interest in “News of the Week,” but also from the host’s difficult personality, his intolerance of differing opinions, and his resistance to recommendations from Presidential Administration officials.
