Lavrov Threatens The United Kingdom

The Russian Foreign Minister "listed" London as a participant in the war against Russia.

Following reports that British drones were used in Ukrainian strikes against Russia, Moscow began speaking out about the possible consequences for London.

This was reported by Charter97.org, citing a comment by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Izvestia journalist Pavel Zarubin.

Lavrov, commenting on statements regarding Ukraine’s use of British weapons, stated that Russia allegedly has the right to respond if it deems that its interests or property are being harmed.

“You know, I feel sorry for Britain if it fights to the very end,” said the Russian minister.

According to him, Moscow may regard the direct involvement of British missile forces in strikes on Russian territory as Britain’s participation in the war.

“We also have the right to view this proudly announced direct involvement of British missile forces in strikes against the Russian Federation as participation in the war, with all the consequences that entails,” Lavrov stated.
