It is noted that by the end of 2025, Nokia’s workforce in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan numbered about 7,200 people. By the end of 2026, the company plans to lay off most of them.
According to one of the sources, Nokia’s business has been in decline in recent years, which is why the company decided to restructure its operations in the country.
