Poland Is Transitioning From Emerging Markets To The Developed Markets Category

Today, Poland is the fastest-growing major economy in the EU.
S&P Dow Jones Indices, a provider of global financial indices, has decided to reclassify Poland as a developed market, upgrading its status from an emerging market.
This was reported Poland’s Minister of Finance Andrzej Domanski.
The reclassification will take effect with the index update in September 2027.

He added that as early as next week, Poland will take part in a meeting of G20 finance ministers and central bank governors.
