A Belarusian Woman Turned A Power Line Pole Into A Work Of Art

A Belarusian national ornament appeared on the pole.

Threads user lipunyusha showed how she transformed a power line pole near her home.

“That pole by the gate really annoyed me, so I decided to decorate it,” she writes in the caption of a video she posted on social media. “The first shot isn’t exactly the ‘before’—I first tore off a bunch of flyers, and only then did I think to record a video. What do you think?”
The video’s creator emphasized that the decorative elements she painted didn’t cover the numbers and letters that had been applied to the pole by electricians.

“The pole suddenly discovered its Belarusian roots,” commented one social media user on the video.
