Digital transformation and cognitive warfare efforts will be intensified.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara has decided to retain the Defense Ministry’s current leadership. However, there will also be some new appointments.

According to RBC-Ukraine, Khmara mentioned this during a conversation with journalists.

According to Khmara, his priority is to retain the Ministry of Defense’s team.

“The ministry retains strong professionals with expertise and a sense of public duty. Their task is to ensure continuity in the work, continue important projects, and strengthen those areas that require additional attention,” the minister noted.

At the same time, the team is also being bolstered by new members:

Mykola Bystryi has joined as Deputy Minister of Defense and is responsible for the front lines.

Lyubov Galan is responsible for the development and retention of human capital within the Defense Forces.

Sergey Boev has returned to the team at my initiative; his experience is crucial for working with international partners.

Plans are also underway to strengthen the defense industry and export sectors in the near future. Anna Gvozdyar will serve as deputy in this area.

Separately, the Ministry will strengthen digital transformation and the cognitive warfare sector. For the digital sector, a candidate with combat experience and a background at the Ministry of Defense is being considered. For cognitive warfare, a candidate has already been selected, and the objectives have been defined.

When asked by journalists about the possible return of Mikhail Fedorov to the Ministry of Defense as an advisor or in another role, Khmara noted that they had one meeting in July.

During that meeting, the minister suggested finding any model or format to continue their joint work on projects. However, Khmara did not propose any specific positions. So far, there has been no response from Fedorov.
