Dear friends! For more than 25 years, the “Charter ’97” website has been reporting the truth about events in Belarus and around the world. Throughout this time, we have built a unique community of people united by a single dream—to live in a free and democratic country.

It is this very dream that has brought Belarusians out onto the streets, given them hope for change even in the most difficult times, and continues to inspire them to fight.

Today, we’re asking you to help us continue our work. In Belarus, our website could have found advertisers, but there is no free media market in our country, and because of our principled stance, we are forced to operate from abroad. The issue of Belarus has taken a back seat in the West. Financial support for independent Belarusian media is being drastically cut. In this situation, we are counting on you, our readers.

How can you support us? We offer three ways

First— PayPal. You can choose an amount that works for you and support us through this platform. PayPal allows you to transfer money from your card or wallet on this service.

The second option is Patreon. You can subscribe to “Charta ’97” by selecting the amount you’d like to contribute.
The system will prompt you to either create an account by choosing a password or log in via email or social media. Then you make the payment.

The first payment is charged on the day you sign up. After that, the amount you selected will be charged monthly. This is a completely secure and anonymous way to support us.
