The dictator grew nervous when talking about the gambling industry.

Alexander Lukashenko instructed officials to “take a closer look” at the operations and advertising of the gambling industry in the country during a meeting in Minsk on September 10, according to BelTA.

“What do you call them: ‘spin the goose’ (a viral meme from an advertising campaign by one of the Belarusian bookmakers and online casinos—Ed.)—you’ve put up these ads everywhere. It’s gotten to the point where it seems [as if] my own family is behind it. My family… They’re actually harassing me every day. They’re hounding me so that I’ll pay attention to this,” said the dictator. “Look at what’s going on in the country: everyone here is ‘spinning the goose.’ “Please take note, Dmitry Nikolayevich (Lukashenko’s chief of staff Dmitry Krutoy. — Ed.), and take this seriously,” the dictator instructed.
