The Belarusian KGB Stated That It Had “prevented A Sabotage Operation On Russian Territory”

Several "suspects" have been detained.

The Belarusian KGB has allegedly “thwarted the activities of a group that was planning a sabotage operation at one of Russia’s strategic facilities.”

This was reported on the agency’s Telegram channel.

Specifically, the sabotage operation was being coordinated from Ukraine, and Belarus was to be used as a transit route for delivering equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles, and communications devices to the group’s members.

According to the KGB, the evidence obtained was promptly handed over to the Russian side, and “the sabotage plot was thwarted at the preparation stage.”

“Several suspects have been detained. In cooperation with Russian special services, measures are being taken to identify other individuals who may have been involved in planning the sabotage,” the statement said.
