Xi Jinping Proposed A New Framework For China-U.S. Relations To Trump

The President of the People's Republic of China made an important statement immediately upon his arrival in the United States.

China and the U.S. “should be partners, not rivals.”

Chinese President Xi Jinping made this proposal immediately upon his arrival in the United States, according to AP.

Xi Jinping stated that China’s pursuit of national rejuvenation and the U.S.’s efforts to regain its greatness can proceed in parallel.

He is convinced that the two countries can support each other’s success, which will ultimately benefit the entire world.

In his statement, the Chinese leader also emphasized that Beijing and Washington “must meet each other halfway and work together to build stable relations.”

The Chinese leader believes that cooperation should form the foundation, while competition should be kept within appropriate limits.

Xi added that he is committed to resolving all differences with the U.S. so that peace may prevail between the two countries.
