Sikorsky To Lavrov: Sergey, Tell Your Boss That Enough Is Enough.

The Polish foreign minister addressed his Russian counterpart at the UN.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski addressed Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a meeting of the UN Security Council. He called on Moscow to end the war against Ukraine and not to endanger other European countries, according to RMF24.

“Stop destroying Russia’s future, Sergey. I know you’re listening. Tell your boss that enough is enough,” he said, addressing the Russian foreign minister, who had earlier left the room.

The Polish foreign minister also emphasized that the Russian dictator has not achieved his goals in Ukraine.

“Russia is escalating this senseless, colonial war because, after more than four years, Vladimir Putin has achieved nothing and needs a pretext for another wave of mobilization. To the representatives of the Russian Federation, I want to say: you have been trying to conquer the Donbas for more than 12 years, and Kyiv for more than four. You have been stopped by heroic Ukraine, a country that generates one-tenth of Russia’s GDP, but Poland has nearly half of your GDP. Europe’s GDP is 10 times greater than yours. NATO’s GDP is 25 times greater than yours. You can continue to kill many people, but you will not be able to win,” Sikorski said.

The publication reported that Lavrov had previously stated that Russia has no intention of ending the war against Ukraine. The Russian foreign minister also accused European countries of wanting to use a possible suspension of hostilities to rearm Ukraine.

“Having learned from bitter experience, we will not suspend the special military operation during negotiations in any form,” he said.
