A Ukrainian Drone Took Out A 42-metric-ton Russian Self-propelled Gun

The occupiers camouflaged the gun, but it didn't help.

Operators of the “Gatilo” Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 3rd Iron Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces detected and destroyed a Russian 2S19 “Msta-S” self-propelled howitzer in the Velikoburluk direction in the Kharkiv region, according to "Censor.net".

The occupiers attempted to conceal the 42-metric-ton self-propelled artillery system in the woods.

After detecting the enemy position, the operators directed an FPV drone at the target and delivered a precision strike on the artillery system.

As a result of the strike, the Russian 2S19 “Msta-S” self-propelled artillery system sustained serious damage.

The system is valued at up to $6 million.
