Production of the first Belarusian drug for the treatment of HIV infection—"Dolutegravir-AM"—is scheduled to begin as early as this year. This was reported to the state-run publication "Minskaya Pravda" was told by Elena Serkova, director of "AmantisMed" LLC in Logoisk.

This year, “AmantisMed” plans to release the first Belarusian drug for the treatment of HIV infection—“Dolutegravir-AM.”

“The drug has successfully passed tests to verify its equivalence to the original drug,” said the director of the pharmaceutical company.

The studies were conducted on healthy volunteers at certified clinical centers according to a protocol approved by the Ministry of Health. It has been statistically proven that the rate and extent of absorption of the generic drug under study do not differ from those of the original drug.

AmantisMed has also recently registered two more new drugs: one for treating throat and oral cavity conditions and another for treating diabetes.

To date, the company produces a total of more than 70 drugs in various dosages and packaging sizes.
