PACE rapporteur hopes for meeting with political prisoners

Rapporteur on Belarus of the Political Affairs Committee at Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Andrea Rigoni intents to meet with the political prisoners.
“We have spoken about it. We’ll see if we can organize such meetings, it depends on today’s and tomorrow’s appointments. During the dialog, talks with Belarusian leadership, we hope we receive such an opportunity. As yet we haven’t speak about concrete names and haven’t analyzed this particular point”, - Rigoni said in the interview to Radio Svaboda.
Since 16 October PACE Rapporteur on Belarus of the Political Affairs Committee Andrea Rigoni has been paying a visit to Belarus. The aim of the visit is the special report on the situation in Belarus.
