Are dictatorship’s hideous acts to be whitewashed by OSCE experts again?

The Belarusian Foreign Affairs Ministry invites the OSCE experts to “observe” the legal lynching of political prisoners.

It has been stated today by the spokesperson of the Belarusian Foreign Affairs Ministry Andrei Savinykh, ITAR-TASS informs.

“Belarus views this invitation as confirmation of its openness and readiness to confirm following the international standards in all trials,” he said.

We remind that it is not the first time so-called OSCE experts are invited to Belarus to evaluate and justify the most hideous crimes of the Belarusian regime.

Thus, in 2009 a German criminal and procedural criminal law expert Martin Finke issued an expert’s opinion on the case of Vaukavysk entrepreneurs Mikalai Autukhovich, Uladzimir Asipenka and Yury Lyavonau. He arrived at the invitation of the OSCE. Without a shadow of a doubt the expert confirmed that terrorism charges are warranted. Even the Belarusian court found the false charges do not hold water, and the political prisoners were sentenced to imprisonment “for storage of 5 cartridges”.

In 2010 a criminalist Sonja Bjork (Sweden) and Forensic Pathology Professor Sidsel Rodge (Norway), proceeding only from the documents given to them by the puppet prosecutor’s office and without their own investigation, made a conclusion that Aleh Byabenin (Oleg Bebenin), the founder and chief editor of charter97.org website, had committed suicide.

“The word-combination “an OSCE expert” is to become a common noun in Belarus soon, as people visiting our country completely ignore the fact that Belarus is a totalitarian state and it is impossible to make a conclusion basing upon the papers provided by the law-enforcing agencies of the regime only,” has said Zmitser Bandarenka just a three months ago, commenting on the new conclusions of “experts”. Are the OSCE experts are to come now to justify the legal lynching of Zmitser himself?
