Khashchavatski: Zmitser Bandarenka will not serve his full sentence

A filmmaker Yury Khashchavatski, an author of such films as “An Ordinary President” and “Square” comments on the verdict to Zmitser Bandarenka:

“I think that by this ruling the authorities have stolen two years of Zmitser’s life. But one should remember that in fact 17 years of our lives have been stolen by Lukashenka’s coming to power. And the regime continues to do that.

To spend 2 years in prison, behind the bars, will be not all honey for Zmitser Bandarenka certainly. But he will get through all that I am sure. And moreover, I think that Zmitser would not serve his sentence until the end. The final part of this term would be served by those who had delivered this sentence to him,” he filmmaker said in an interview to Radio Svaboda.
