Award-Winning Sportsmen’s Houses On Minsk Sea Shore And In Drazdy

How the sportsmen, who returned to Belarus as champions from competitions, have settled.

The famous tennis player Viktoryja Azaranka has a property both, in America, and in Minsk. It’s known that the sportswoman built a huge cottage in Vesninka, on the first line of the water-storage reservoir Drazdy. The famous tennis player received the land portion from Lukashenka in 2011. The house has already been built, but it doesn’t look inhabited. The locals say that they haven’t seen Viktoryja for a long time already. However, if she really came, no one would notice – people there are not used to communicate with each other.

It is also known that Viktoryja Azaranka dropped $7 million for a house in Manhattan Beach last year.

The biathlete Darja Damrachova has recently been living in Austria, but she will have her own house in her home country as well. Darya has almost finished building of a big house in Laparovichy village on the shore of the Minsk Sea, where she plans to live with her husband - Norwegian biathlete Bjoerndalen. Her house was designed by her brother - the architect Mikita Damrachou.

Darja’s neighbours are famous sportsmen. Famous football players: the defender of Salihorsk FC Shakhter Aliaksandr Yurevich, the BATE forward Vital Radzionau, the head coach of FC Ufa Viktar Hancharenka have already built their houses right behind Darya’s house, on the second line.

The award-winning footballer Aliaksandr Hleb has also settled in Laparovichy village. The locals say that the sportsman didn’t build the large mansion, but bought a ready-built one.

The tennis player Maksim Mirny also likes the Minsk Sea coast – he built a mansion with a tennis court there.

Celebrities, that are visiting Mr and Mrs Mirny, often post photos in their social networks. For example, recently singer Halina Shyshkova visited Mirnys' place and published a photo with the caption: “Here I am standing... near the legendary gazebo))) it is not just a gazebo, it's the gazebo, which is gathering friends together))) where names have been set in, including mine))) visiting Ksenia and Max Mirnys).
