‘For Whom Luka Is A Batka, The ****head Is An Uncle’

Protest rallies against Lukashenka’s arrival have been held in the center of Kiev for two days.

Today, the action has been held outside the building of the Ukrainian President’s Administration.

The Belarusian volunteers, who participate in the combat actions in Eastern Ukraine, have come to the action with the Belarusian national flags and the posters which said “For Whom Luka Is A Batka, The ****head Is An Uncle”.

“When we go up the Heavenly Hundred Heroes Alley in Kyiv, we can’t but notice that they hanged the red-green rugs there before Lukashenka’s visit. This insults the memory of the people who died defending the freedom of Ukraine. We remember Lukashenka’s statements on the “Maidan-affected” and other nonsense that he blabbered out, insulting the Maidan participants.”

We understand that the leaders of Ukraine are playing real politics now, but we call on Petro Poroshenko to hear the voice of Belarusian volunteers, many of whom were wounded and some were killed for Ukraine," - the Belarusian volunteer, known as “Ihor” by the call sign, told the Charter97.org.

On the eve of Lukashenka’s visit to Kyiv, the tactical group “Belarus” addressed to the government and the society of Ukraine.

The volunteers urged:

– To stop the criminal prosecution of Belarusian volunteers, who are fighting on the side of Ukraine;

– To give legal assessment to contractors - citizens of Belarus, who are fighting in the territory of Ukraine in the ranks of LPR and DPR criminal groups, and to break off the activities of the organizations engaged in the recruitment and contractors’ training in Belarus;

– To abolish the "black lists" on the border, which make it impossible for people's deputies, public figures, journalists, representatives of Ukraine's creative elites to visit Belarus;

– To allow broadcasting of Ukrainian TV channels in the television networks of Belarus and broadcasting of Ukrainian films about the revolution of dignity and the Russian-Ukrainian war on Belarusian channels;

– To stop provocations, pressure and persecution of relatives of the Belarusians who sacrificed their lives for the independence of Ukraine: Hero of Ukraine Mikhail Zhizneuski and fighter of the tactical group Belarus Aliaksandr Charkashyn.

The fighters are convinced that the implementation of these 5 points "will strengthen Ukraine and lead to the improvement of the Belarusian-Ukrainian relations."
