Doctors, Patients Of Lode Medical Center Taken To Barauliany Hospital

A patient with coronavirus visited this medical center on March 8.

Minsk resident Natallia went to the Lode Medical Center in the Independence Avenue on Sunday morning for tests. The woman was in the clinic from about 9.15 to 9.40 am. Now she is being taken by an ambulance to the Barauliany hospital. According to her, all the staff of the medical center, who worked at that time in the clinic, as well as patients, are hospitalized. The reason for this is that a patient was examined there from about 9 am to 10 am on March 8, who has been detected to be infected with coronavirus today, onliner.by reports.

- Yesterday, at about 12 am, they called me from Lode and said that from 9 to 10 a coronavirus patient was there - everyone will be hospitalized anyway because of suspicion. Both patients and doctors. Representatives of the Ministry of Health called me today at 9 am, and explained that all the doctors and patients had already been taken to hospital - there were three people left, including me. And that today and in 13 days they will take a smear. I replied that there are cameras in the Lode where you can see the time of the patient’s visit and where exactly he went. maybe he was there at 9.55, and I didn’t come across him? They answered that there is a risk and they should hospitalize me away,” the woman said.

More than half an hour ago, Natallia was taken from her house, now she is going by ambulance to Barauliany. Her mother and child stayed at home.

- My question remains: if it turns out that I have not seen this patient, will they be able to let me go after the test results? But they said no,” says Natallia.

On the night of March 8-9, the Minsker went to work, on Monday she took her child to the children's clinic, and closed the sick-list for him.

At Lode, they said that the medical center is operating normally. The press-center of the Ministry of Health confirmed that the patient who was diagnosed with coronavirus did visit the clinic. The information that the staff and patients of the medical center are now being checked for infection was also confirmed.

The Lode center in the Independence Avenue is crowded. Patients walk on all floors, a few of them are masked. At the reception on the second floor it is seen that the workers are wearing face masks.

- Oh, why are you masked? You weren’t on Sunday, - a patient is worried.

- Today in the morning a letter came to everyone - be sure to wear masks, - the employees answer.

- They say that in the morning you had quarantine here, someone was taken away with the coronavirus? - visitors specify.

- Yes, there was quarantine, - they answer dryly at the reception. - But we are working normally.

On the third and fourth floors, some administrators are in masks. Cleaners, wardrobe staff and some doctors work without masks.

- Shall patients take masks with them when they come to see a doctor? Do they need some precautions? - we asked the administrators.

- Well, you can take a mask if it makes you feel safe, - they answered at the reception.
