Belarusian Banks To Introduce Another Currency Novelties

They concern, among other things, the limits on the withdrawal of cash dollars and euros from current accounts.

On April 27, Paritetbank will increase the maximum amount of cash withdrawal from current accounts of individuals to $5,000 or euros over 30 calendar days. But the money is to be pre-ordered 10 working days in advance. This limit is set for all accounts of one client, including those to which the card is issued, reports zerkalo.io.

Previously, this "ceiling" was 3,000 dollars or euros per 30 calendar days.

The BelVEB Bank has increased some currency limits for individuals since April 25. For example, the "ceiling" on cash withdrawals in dollars and euros by card to the account in Belarusian rubles is now Br2,000 per day and the equivalent of $5,000/euro per month.

The limit for foreign currency card cash replenishment has been raised to Br2,000 per day. The innovations also affected the deposits. Thus, the currency deposit can be replenished by a ruble card through a mobile app for up to the equivalent of 2,000 rubles per day.

As for demand deposits in roubles, you can transfer up to 2,000 roubles per day to your foreign currency account via a mobile app when withdrawing them.

Alfa-Bank has introduced changes on card-to-card transfers from cards of non-resident banks to its own cards since April 22. "Transfers in this direction are now available in dollars, euros and Russian rubles," the bank specified. "A tariff of 1% of the transfer amount and 3 roubles has been set for transfers".
