Near Tambov, Drones Destroyed A Station That Facilitated The Transit Of Oil From Russia

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked strategic targets in Russia’s Tambov Region. According to preliminary reports, the Nikolskaya Linear Production and Dispatch Station (LPDS), which facilitates oil transit, was damaged, writes “Dialog”.

An air raid alert was declared in the region in the early morning of October 20. Residents of Michurinsk reported several explosions. It is claimed that the local LPDS was struck by Ukrainian drones. A video was posted by the Telegram channel Exilenova+.

The governor of the Tambov Region Evgeny Pervyshov had not commented on the situation as of the time of publication. The Michurinsk administration has also remained silent.

Photos and videos from social media suggest that the attack was successful: a diesel fuel tank is on fire on the station grounds.

The Nikolskaya Oil Storage and Distribution Station near Michurinsk handles the storage and transit of crude oil and petroleum products via the main oil pipeline. The station distributes raw materials not only to the domestic market but also for export, making it a legitimate target for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
