Bild: Powerful German Howitzers Pzh 2000 At The Frontline In Ukraine

Howitzers change their positions after each firing.

The self-propelled German howitzers PzH 2000 supplied to Ukraine have been at the frontlines for several days. The Bild newspaper writes about this, according to unian.net.

They write that the journalist of the newspaper visited the frontline in Ukraine and after that published an article entitled "Finally, Our Self-Propelled Howitzers In Action!".

A Ukrainian serviceman told the journalist that they change positions after each use of the howitzer so that the Russians cannot track it down and destroy it.

"It is a perfect weapon. One German self-propelled howitzer replaces three old Soviet systems that we used before... We thought we would master it in 10 days, but it took 36,” he said.

Information about the location of the German howitzers is not disclosed, as this is classified information.

Germany and the Netherlands agreed to supply PzH 2000 howitzers to Ukraine.

Note: The PzH 2000 155 mm and 55 calibre length self-propelled howitzer is designed according to NATO standards. This combination is currently recognized as the classic and most successful, and on average gives a firing range of about 30 km. However, the PzH 2000 has much better results. An ordinary projectile fired with this German self-propelled howitzer covers from 30 to 36 km.
