Owner Of Billy Bones Bar Detained In Minsk

The owner of the Billy Bones bar has been detained in Minsk. This was reported on September 29 by TV channels, close to the law enforcement agencies.

In a "penitential" video, the detainee said that in August 2020, "radical citizens" used to gather in his bar. He also said that he reposted materials recognized by the Belarusian authorities as extremist.

Telegram channels close to the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption reported that the bar owner was targeted during a "search of the Novaya Baravaya chat room".
