Netanyahu: Israel Is At War

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented for the first time on the massive attack by the terrorist group Hamas. The politician said that the country is in a state of war and expressed confidence that it will win.

“Citizens of Israel, we are at war. This is not an “operation”, not an “escalation”, this is a war. And we will win. Hamas will pay an unprecedented price for this war. I ordered the border settlements to be cleared of terrorists, and the reservists to be mobilized,” Netanyahu emphasized.

The media noted that the Prime Minister made his first public statement about the attack approximately five hours after the attack by the Gaza-based terrorist group began.

In the morning of October 7, thousands of missiles were fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel. For its part, the Israeli army began carrying out airstrikes on Palestine. Armed Hamas terrorists entered Israeli territory and launched chaotic machine gun fire.

There are casualties among civilians. Dozens of people were also reported injured. One of the missiles hit a building in Tel Aviv. In addition, the sounds of explosions were heard in Jerusalem.
