Elimination Of Three Su-34s Sparks Propagandist Demand For Russian Troop Withdrawal From Kherson Region

The destruction of three Su-34 fighter-bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Kherson region, together with the news of the imminent delivery of F-16s to Ukraine, caused panic in Russian Z-channels, reports dialog.ua.

The resource “Airborne Forces for Honesty and Justice,” maintained by officers of the Dnepr group of the Russian Armed Forces, demands an immediate “gesture of goodwill” on the Southern Front. The corresponding post was published in the evening of December 22.

The Russian military confirmed the news of the downing of three Su-34s, clarifying that the Ukrainian Armed Forces caught up with Russian aircraft in the Chaplynka area. This is the deep rear of the Russian army in the Kherson region, which is located approximately 60 kilometers from the front line.

The Z-channel assures that recently a certain “unknown foreign air defense system” has taken control of almost the entire right bank of the region along the Nova Kakhovka — Armyansk line. The Russians suggest that this could be the Patriot complex. This makes combat work there for military aviation almost impossible.

“Our commandship then ignored the threat, which resulted in the loss of scarce aircraft and valuable specialist pilots,” the Russian military wrote.

They demand the withdrawal of the Russian army beyond the Nova Kakhovka — Armyansk line, that is, the abandonment of about half of the right bank part of the Kherson region.

“This will secure our aviation, remove control points of units and formations from enemy missile strikes and allow our fighters to take more advantageous positions for defense... The headquarters of the Dnepr Main Force has already developed a corresponding plan. But General Teplinsky, due to personal ambitions and exorbitant vanity, is still postponing its implementation,” a Russian military resource reported.
