On the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a downed Russian T-72 tank has been placed in front of the Russian embassy in Berlin to protest against the war, dw.com reported.
The initiative to install the tank belongs to Enno Lenze and Wieland Giebel, organizers of the Berlin Story Bunker museum. In June this year, the authorities in the central district of Berlin, Mitte, turned them down, arguing on grounds of piety and the foreign policy interests of the Federal Republic of Germany. However, in October, an administrative court in the German capital ordered the city authorities to issue the permit.
