Investigator: Trump's Sponsor Asks Lukashenka For Ammunition

The founder of the largest U.S. private military company Blackwater (also Constellis, Academi, Xe Services) Eric Prince, one of the sponsors of Donald Trump's last presidential campaign, sent a letter of praise to Aliaksandr Lukashenka in 2020, asking to sell him a huge batch of Soviet ammunition and offering to create a joint arms venture. This is stated by authoritative American investigative journalist Matthew Cole, zerkalo.io writes.

Matthew Cole specializes in the field of security and has long investigated the activities of Eric Prince. He published Prince's letter to Lukashenka. The journalist writes that he received the letter from a source on condition of anonymity.

"The source fears physical retaliation from the Belarusian authorities because, according to him, he (a) received the letter from Lukashenkф's administration," Cole explains.

The letter is dated September 6, 2020, the height of the protests and a week after Lukashenka walked with an automatic gun in front of the Palace of Independence during Sunday's peaceful march. It is personally addressed to Lukashenka from Eric Prince and his partner Michael Yudelson. They introduce themselves as executives of Defense Export Limited, registered in Cyprus, which is owned by Yudelson.

The authors of the letter offer Belarus a long-term mutually beneficial cooperation. They address Lukashenka as "Mr. President" and "Your Excellency," and the letter is full of praise for him.

"Let us express the assurances of our highest respect and inform you of our intentions to develop mutually beneficial cooperation with BSVT - New Technologies LLC (Minsk) in the field of international security," the letter reads.
