Piontkovsky: Putin Begins Third War

He has lost the previous two.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has already lost two wars.

Now he has started the third and hopes that he will win at least one.

This is the strategy of “eternal war”.

Russian publicist member of the opposition from in the US Andrey Piontkovsky spoke about it with Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbaliuk in conversation. The 24 channel reports.

According to him, during the full-scale invasion, Vladimir Putin started the third “war”.

He has lost the previous two.

As Mr Piontkovsky emphasized, Putin declared the first war on February 24, 2022, at the beginning of a full-scale invasion.

It can be conditionally called the Fourth World War.

This was revenge for the USSR's defeat in the Third World Cold War.

“The Fourth World War he declared was revenge for the defeat of the USSR in the Third World Cold War.

Hitler also began the Second World War as revenge for the First World War.

He and Patrushev were planning to use a tactical nuclear weapon as blackmail.

And also threatened NATO to force it out of Europe,” said Mr Piontkovsky.

He suggested that if, God forbid, Ukraine fell, Putin would stand on the borders of the Baltic States and Poland and begin nuclear blackmail so that NATO would withdraw from Eastern Europe.

And in this scenario, the West could respond to such threats.

“This blackmail didn't work.

Ukraine, with its heroic resistance, has done a great job and prevented this scenario.

As President Zelensky said, over the year Ukraine has taught the West not to be afraid of the Russians and the Russian blackmail,” Piontkovsky said.

Putin has lost this war.

But he decided to destroy Ukraine with conventional weapons.

However, the heroic resistance of the AFU and other defence forces thwarted the dictator's plans.

So now he has declared the third war – “routine” or “eternal”.

It was clear from Putin's speech before the Federal Assembly, where he spoke nonsense about the successes in the economy and among other things said that he would give two weeks of vacations to the occupiers for every six months of the war.
