Ukraine's 'Offensive Guards' Create 'Charter' Brigade

The brigade was created because of the large number of requests sent by volunteers.

On April 11, a ninth brigade joined the assault brigade of the Ukrainian "Offensive Guards" - the Kharkiv-based "Charter" brigade.

This was stated in an official statement issued by the Offensive Guards.

During the TV marathon, Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister Kateryna Pavlichenko said that due to the large number of requests sent by volunteers, it was decided to create a new brigade.

"This brigade will be the ninth in the Offensive Guards and the seventh brigade in the National Guard of Ukraine. Recruitment for the Charter has already begun," the Ukrainian Deputy Interior Minister said.

Pavlichenko said that applications can be submitted either through the Interior Ministry's website, where you can read more about the stages of selection, the training that will take place, or through the CNAPs, where you can also submit your documents offline.

She said the level of selection of candidates for the Offensive Guards is quite high, as the best and most motivated must be recruited into the ranks of the fighters. However, she added that candidates who still have a strong desire to join a particular unit of the Offensive Guard can improve their physical fitness through training and join the assault brigades.

The deputy interior minister said that the fighters' training lasts for several months. At first, it is held individually, as a large number of volunteers have never served in the army before. The next stage of the exercise takes place in the unit in which the fighters will serve.
