Russia Attacks Odesa Region With Onyx Missiles Second Time A Day

Explosions also took place in the north of Ukraine.

After a series of night and morning attacks, Russia keeps shelling Ukraine during the day. It is known about missile launches in the direction of the Odesa and Chernihiv regions, writes RBC-Ukraine.

The Odesa region

Residents of the Odesa region reported explosions on social media. It was assumed that air defense worked in the region.

The Odessa regional military administration urged residents to stay in shelters and not to film the military.

“Residents of the entire region, stay in the safe places until lights out! Do not film the work of air defense, do not help the enemy,” the message says.

The Chernihiv region

Head of the Chernihiv regional military administration Vyacheslav Chaus said that the enemy is attacking the region with missiles. He urged residents to be careful.

Later, the Pivnich Operational Command clarified that the occupiers launched a missile attack on one of the settlements in the Chernihiv region. The house of culture was damaged as a result of the attack. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.

Massive Alert

At about 10:40 am, an air alert was announced in half of the regions of Ukraine. Residents of the northern, central, eastern and southern regions were warned about the threat.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the threat of launching missiles by the invaders. The military urged not to ignore the alarms.

Later, the AF of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded launches of Onyx supersonic anti-ship missiles in the direction of the Odesa region.

Occupiers shell the Odesa region

Over the past week, Russia has stepped up shelling of southern Ukraine. This happened against the background of its withdrawal from the “grain agreement”.

In particular, the occupiers have been attacking the Odesa region for several nights in a row. The port infrastructure and grain terminals fell under the enemy attack. So, today Russia hit the terminals with grain with Caliber missiles. 100 tons of peas and 20 tons of barley were destroyed, two people were injured, and equipment of the State Emergency Service was damaged.
