Boryslav Bereza: Putin Fears To Activate Air Raid Alert In Moscow

Sooner or later there will be discontent among the Russians.

On the night of Tuesday, August 1, drones attacked the towers of the government quarter of Moscow, where the Ministry of Economic Development is located, for the second time in a week.

The website Charter97.org asked Ukrainian politician, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Boryslav Bereza to comment on these strikes:

— I want to say that this is all a lie. This building itself attacked the drones and, as we can see, worked like a regular air defense. If we move from jokes to serious questions, then Moscow, as promised earlier, will understand more and more every day that it is part of the battlefield.

I once told you that the war will come to Moscow, then the Muscovites will understand that sitting on the couch with a bottle of “Okhotskoye” or “Ochakovo” beer will no longer work. Each of them can accidentally die due to the fact that an UAV gets jammed in the wrong place, something falls in the wrong place or whatever.

The only option for Russia to end flights around Moscow and other cities (all legitimate objects and targets) is to withdraw all troops from all occupied territories. This will provide an opportunity to negotiate compensation for Ukraine and other issues. Until that moment, Ukraine reserves the right to defend itself with all possible tools that it has.

— The strikes occur at a time when there is no one in the buildings — a weekend, at night. Why?

We do not want accidental victims, we are trying to minimize them. Please note that Russia purposefully hits civilian objects, residential buildings. Mostly at night when people are sleeping there.

Ukraine, on the other hand, hits exactly those objects that are not residential. Nobody can be there at night.

I want to draw attention to another interesting point. Russia, constantly shelling Ukrainian cities, says that they “hit some headquarters of Azov”, “Nazis”, “warehouses”, but in fact they hit residential buildings or civilian infrastructure all the time.

Ukraine, on the other hand, is delivering targeted blows, and shows that it can hit. Every day we will have more and more such UAVs. In general, here is another proof that Ukraine does what it says, while Russia traditionally lies.

— If you look at the videos that are published on the internet, then only explosions are visible on them, and the air raid warning is not heard. What lesson should the Russians learn from these attacks?

— In Russia, air raid alerts will not be activated, because this will scare the Muscovites. If suddenly, quite by accident, some Russian electronic warfare jams a drone, and it falls into someone's apartment, then the blame for this will lie with the Russian Federation.

First, there is no need to jam drones. Secondly, you need to warn your citizens to leave, you need to minimize the danger. But the Russian authorities are indifferent to the lives of Russians. For them, these are sacrificial lambs, which they will quite calmly exchange for their interests.

— Could you please explain why the Kremlin is afraid to scare the Russians?

— Just the realization that Moscow is also becoming a war zone will lead to the fact that the war will end. Sooner or later there will be discontent among the Russians. Today, people in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Samara, Vladimir and other cities of the Russian Federation do not feel the war. It doesn't exist for them.

Once they begin to feel it, they see that it turns out that they too can become part of the war zone, their motivation to support the war will decrease dramatically.

The protest mood and the desire for the war to end will increase. In Russia, the authorities will be forced to respond to people, because discontent can sooner or later turn into a controlled rebellion that will remove this government and put another one.

Every lieutenant wants to become a general, and every little corrupt official in the Russian Federation wants to become a big corrupt official, but they are hindered. There is Putin, Shoigu, Patrushev, Medvedev and the rest of the gang, which sits on all streams, but petty corrupt officials are not allowed there.

If there is a chance, petty corrupt officials will take advantage of it. Here discontent is suppressed, including without frightening the Russians. Let's be honest, when a siren roars, you begin to understand that it is roaring because there is a war.
