Polish Border Guards Send Water Cannons To Belarus Border

What's happening?

The Polish border guards have sent water cannons to the border with Belarus.

“In Dubicze Cerkiewne, a large group of 40 aggressive foreigners made their way across the border. One of them had a knife, and they threw stones. A Typhoon vehicle with water cannons was sent to the scene of the incident,” the Polish Border Service said in a statement.

In the Białowieża region, a group of 25 citizens of Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, Turkmenistan and Syria illegally crossed the Przewłoka River. The foreigners were detained.

Over the past 24 hours, 106 people tried to enter Poland from Belarus, including citizens of the Congo and Eritrea.
